Get ready to try your hand at this year’s Lenoir Community College Foundation “Casino Night” from 7 to 10:30 p.m. Jan. 31 in the Culinary Arts Center at Lenoir Community College. Ten local “celebrities” have agreed to make sure this year’s event is a hit yet again.
The proceeds from this event will benefit students through the LCC Foundation Scholarship Program. The foundation began this event in order to raise funds for the scholarship program benefitting students needing assistance with pursuing an education. This year’s local celebrity dealers include:
Kenneth Blizzard, vice president of Blizzard Contract Flooring and Design
Debbie Chused, Promotion Products consultant
Ed Mills, retired dean of students at Lenoir Community College
Lucy Marston, director of the Kinston-Lenoir County Visitors’ and Information Center
Carol Sykes, mayor of Pink Hill
Bobby Taylor, mayor of Snow Hill and owner of Greene Ridge Racket
Dr. Bob Hosea, ear nose and throat doctor, Kinston
