(AP) - Wal-Mart says Tracy Morgan is partially to blame for the injuries he suffered when his limousine bus was slammed into from behind by one of the retailer's tractor-trailers back in June.
Wal-Mart says the injuries to those in Morgan's vehicle were caused by the passengers' "failure to properly wear an appropriate available seatbelt restraint device."
The company calls that "unreasonable conduct." The Wal-Mart statements are in documents in response to a lawsuit filed by Morgan in July.
An attorney representing Morgan and the other plaintiffs hasn't responded to the Wal-Mart filing.
Authorities have said that the Georgia truck driver hadn't slept for more than 24 hours before the accident along the New Jersey Turnpike.
