LA GRANGE — An annual summer art camp is being offered again this year for children ages 7 to 11. The class will be held from 9 a.m. to noon July 22-26 at the La Grange Arts Center on North Caswell and West Railroad streets.
Instructors Cile Beaman and Mary Margaret Harrison will keep a lively program going featuring work in a variety of mediums, including clay and paint. Prospective participants are reminded to bring an old “grubby” shirt to put over their clothes.
The cost is $65 for members of the Arts Center and $75 for non-members. This fee includes all materials.
Registration and a $25 non-refundable deposit are due now, with the balance due on the first day of camp. The camp is one of the successful programs sponsored by the arts center for the promotion of the arts in the community.
