A live performance of The Gothard Sisters – at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Paramount Theater, 139 S. Center St., Goldsboro – will launch the 2013-14 season of Wayne Community Concerts.
Greta, Willow and Solana Gothard began classical violin training and competitive Irish dancing at a young age. They competed in the Irish Dancing World Championships for three years and placed second in 2007 in Scotland. Talented in guitar, bodhran and voice, the trio has recorded six CDs, winning the 2011 Celtic radio’s Album of the Year.
